My Chaplet

A CHAPLET OF THE HOLY FACE

This chaplet is one I composed for my own personal use. It is based on the official chaplet, but has a few minor alterations, which I found myself adding instinctively.
Although it obviously doesn't have 'ecclesiastical approval', I'm sure that anyone using it would share in the blessings promised by Our Lord to all who practise devotion to his Holy Face: see 'Promises' for details.
I have found it to be especially powerful as a prayer against Evil.

I use a special set of beads (see below) which you can obtain from the makers of the medal. You could also use an ordinary Rosary, and say five sets of 10 small beads instead of five sets of six.

PRAYERS OF THE CHAPLET SOURCES
On the Crucifix "Lord by your Cross and Resurrection you have set us free,
You are the saviour of the world"

ACT OF FAITH,
Holy Mass

First Bead

Our Father which art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name ...

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Next 3 Beads Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee ...

THE 'HAIL MARY'
Fifth Bead Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit ...
THE 'GLORY BE'
On the Medal,
and on each
large bead

Eternal Father,
Look upon the Holy Face of Jesus your beloved son:
For love of that Dear Face,
Have mercy on us* who cry to you in the name of Jesus.

*Have mercy on us can be substituted for
Deliver us, when the prayer is being used especially against Evil

MY PRAYER
On the small beads in the groups of six

"Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered,
Let them that hate him flee before his Face"

ISRAEL'S BATTLE CRY
Numbers 10:35
Final prayers
on the medal

at the end

"All you spirits, Worship him" Psalm 96, v.7
Fall down before him, and  worship  him, for it is written: MY PRAYER
"At the Name of JESUS every knee shall bow - in heaven, on earth and in the underworld,
And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"

St.Paul, letter to Philippians
Chapter 2, v.10

Isaiah 45, v.23

Final Prayer
on the Crucifix
"Behold the Cross of the Lord,
Flee you bands of enemies,
For he has conquered,
The Lion of the tribe of Judah"
St Antony's Brief
